Project Showcase: Detached 4 Bay Garage – PA

Location: Lehigh County, PA
Classic Car Collector’s Dream Garage

This client was very excited to finally build his dream garage for restoring and housing his classic car collection. His goals were a high enough ceiling for a car lift, a fully climate controlled environment, and four bays for easy access. In addition, the exterior design needed to match the aesthetic of his existing home.

Classic Car Collector’s Dream Garage Details Kistler was happy to help this classic car restorer and collector realize his dream both in planning for optimal use of his space and matching his existing home.
This new 4 Bay Detached Garage included:
Application of brick veneer Painted metal ceilings for brightness, climate control
Application of stone wainscoting Independent heating and cooling (HVAC) system
Repairing and re-pointing of slate patio and stone wall Interior finishing – steel panels and lighting
Insulated Garage doors with custom sloped track (to accommodate car lift) Exterior lighting
Insulated walls and ceilings State of the art security system
Special Considerations

One unique challenge for this project was to successfully manage storm water flow away from the existing house and new garage. This was accomplished by carefully planning, re-grading, and paving the site.
