*Post-frame buildings are not just "pole barns" anymore. Over the years the term "pole barns" has been used to describe the construction of horse barns, garages, sheds, office buildings, retail stores, churches, country clubs, pavilions, etc. Post-frame buildings refer to any structure using post and beam construction.
